Sometimes I get comments in the form of haiku. I really like that! So I’ve added a category and a tag “your haiku poetry” for my haiku that have received such comments, so others can read them. I probably didn’t need to have a tag and a category, but what the heck.
A smile here and there
Pulling the heart strings awake.
Mine still tightly shut.
When you smile I smile
When you laugh my heart quickens.
I know you see me.
Hello, Susan… Welcome to my blog! And thanks for your haiku. I like them. Feel free to write more. And I also like haiku responses to my haiku. It’s fun :)
Thanks Robert! What fun!
We Are One
God’s warm breath blowing…
Voiding the separation.
We are all just One.
the breath stops blowing
voiding the separation
into God chotskys
touching you and me
the loving still breath of GOD…
waiting to harvest
Still December air
Listens hushed the brown moor
Ancient barrows sleep
A good place to wander into.
Harry
Harry! :) I love this haiku. Welcome to my haiku blog! Glad you wandered here… Feel free to wander back anytime!
Thank you Robert – and good of you to comment on the enamels. Now that the Arctic blast has faded for a few days, I should be able to use the workshop again – the local gallery keeps wanting more.
……….
Across the heather
Comes from the Scarborough road
A distant murmur
Tsunami
This numb disaster
Lives compressed like old haiku
And scraps of sutra
Harry, what a fantastic haiku! Thanks so much for posting it here! :)
On a new primrose
A spring nymphalid shivers
Sucking with delight
Just lovely, Harry! Keep it up! :)
Lightening and rain
The cracks in the earth close up
The curlew is mute
Thanks, Harry! :)
Bluebells in the woods
Sweet swan necks in a mist haze
through the rides of Spring
Harry, this is a beautiful haiku! :) I hope to see the bluebells, someday :)
On a chimney pot
Carved into the morning
A starling chortles
